Board of Directors
The Board of Directors at DCP operate as an elected group of members dedicated to the service of our theatre. These individuals have demonstrated not only the talent required for the positions they have been appointed to, but additionally, a passion for the advancement and success of DCP Theatre.
The 2022 Board elect
Deb has been a member for 47 years. During that time she had served on the board in various capacities, directed, produced, acted, and served on various committees.
Heidi Murphy has been a DCP member for 6 years. This is her 1st time serving as a DCP board member. Heidi has a M.S. in Orientation & Mobility from Salus University in Philadelphia and Bachelor's Degrees in both Elementary Education and Special Education for the Visually Impaired from Kutztown University. She retired from teaching in 2009 when her daughter was born. She is honored to be of service to the DCP community is looking forward to working with the board as well as the membership to help the theater continue to thrive. She has extensive experience onstage as a performer and was nominated for a Barrymore Award in 2010. She is also an accompanist and tap dancer. She loves Halloween and adding doodles of monsters to vintage postcards. She is currently studying Tai Chi, learning to play the ukelele, and learning to speak Italian.
Candi has served on the Board since 2009. She is a stage manager, actor, puppeteer, and former dancer. She was drawn to DCP because of its varied productions--plays, musicals, and children’s theatre, but she has stayed because of the wonderful people she’s met here. Candi has a BFA in Theatre (Puppetry and Creative Dramatics) from West Virginia University.
Geoff joined DCP as a member in 2009 and has been treasurer since 2010. He has directed Nightwatch, Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein, and most recently Ghosts of Christmas Past. He has enjoyed seeing DCP Theatre grow and continue to showcase the performing arts. He would like to thank all of DCP’s patrons for their ongoing support.
Michelle Rieder, Artistic Director with DCP Theatre, joined the DCP family as Elivira in "Blithe Spirit" in 2011 and over the past 10 years has played many parts both on and off stage. She enjoys being a part of any production, big or small, on stage and behind the scenes and this is her second time serving on the DCP board. Michelle began acting as a child at The Barnstormers Theater in Ridley Park, PA . In more recent history, she has performed with improv and sketch comedy groups in the Lehigh Valley; The Flighty Ducks and The Associated Mess acting, writing, directing and producing live shows and a web series. Michelle also does event hosting, stand up comedy, commercials, voice work and independent films. She works at a nursing school and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator -which is, best described as - a director of medical theater.
Mike Addice, Technical Director with DCP Theatre, Member since 2004. His 2nd time being on the board. Mike started with DCP onstage as part of the cast for Fiddler On The Roof, role as the one that sold the Horse/Mule!! Having never been involved with theatre until his daughter introduced him to community theatre. Mike has been on the Technical Committee almost the whole time at DCP. His background is Computer Science and Systems Analyst by day but theater Tech all the time.
Kalie Desimone has been involved with DCP Theatre for more than 14 years. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors as head of Development and Fundraising for the theatre. Kalie has appeared in dozens of professional and amateur theatrical productions, commercials, films and print ads across the country. She also has years of experience working behind the scenes in production development and execution. Kalie is a proud member of Young Friends of the Pennsylvania Ballet, Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia and the National Press Photographers Association.
Rachael has been a DCP member for 12 years. This is her 2nd time serving as a DCP board member. Rachael has a M.S. in Nonprofit Management from the New School in NYC and is looking forward to using her skills in support of DCP's growth. She has a background in acting, singing, dance and stage management. She is currently learning to play the mandolin.
Patron Services Director:
Jacqui Stinson has been involved with DCP for 3 years, working as an usher and in the box office. Jacqui got involved in volunteering after her children had grown looking for something to fill her time. She always loved live theater and thought it was a great way to see shows. She found she really loved being involved and looks forward to serving our members and guests in 2022.
